Meet the Team
The Lowther Family
Chris Lowther, together with his wife Krystina and their children Abby and Ruby, are the heart and soul of Lowther Electric Ltd., a family-owned electrical contracting business nestled in Osoyoos, British Columbia. Chris brings years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial and industrial electrical work, while Krystina’s dedication to the community and commitment to sustainable solutions help shape the company’s ethos. Built on the values of reliability, clear communication and a deep connection to the South Okanagan-Similkameen region, the Lowther family ensures that each project — no matter how large or small — receives personal attention. From the initial estimate to final walkthrough, clients benefit from the family’s integrity.
The Couzelis Family
Nestled in the heart of the Willowbrook community just outside Oliver, British Columbia, the Couzelis family has built a legacy grounded in hard work, stewardship of the land, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. Their story is one of balance—between agriculture and home building, tradition and innovation.
At the helm is Dan Couzelis, whose entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of Yellowbrick Farms, a vibrant, locally loved operation dedicated to nurturing the land and growing quality produce for the Okanagan Valley. Farming instilled a strong appreciation for patience, integrity, and doing things the right way—values that naturally carried over into the family’s next chapter.
In parallel with their agricultural roots, the Couzelis family launched Desert Niche Homes, bringing the same care, attention to detail, and long-term thinking to residential construction. What began as a passion for creating well-designed, livable spaces has evolved into a commitment to building homes that feel connected to their surroundings and built to stand the test of time.
